In a month full of great battles, rivalries, and tense championship fights, the pick for driver of the month was between 3 drivers: Mikey De Jong, Ridwan Hamza, and rookie Luigi Sven.
All three drivers earned multiple wins in their respective series this month, two of which extended their championship lead.
With that said award was given to Racing Predator's Mikey De Jong for October.
The Dutch driver who primarily races in the ARC Formula 1 Championship was electric in the month of October.
Mikey, in a fierce championship battle with teammate Abdulrahman Al Hazmi, started the month off with a 13 point lead ahead of his teammate.
De Jong started his month with a victory at the Circuit of the Americas, but was set back by a P4 in the inaugural AF1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, after incidents with Matthew Stotts throughout the race.
From there? Nobody was stopping the dutchman. A win in the AF1 Mexican Grand Prix by 10 seconds and a win in the AF1 Brazilian Grand Prix which gave him a 32 point lead ahead of his teammate, a point lead which would propel him to his first ARC championship in November.
4 Starts, 3 Wins, and 3 podiums were the formula for Mikey De Jong's Driver of the Month award for October!
