ARC Driver of the Month: August

It's been another month of ARC racing, & of course that means we have to take the time to honour the driver of the month yet again!

As we come to expect, the driver of the month is somebody who has dominated across multiple series, setting themselves up for the best possible chance at victory in every scenario, & pouncing on all opportunities to put themselves atop the standings.

That driver, in August, was Dylan Bahm!

This marks Bahm's second Driver of the Month award, but this one is more perhaps more significant than the last few, as this puts him as the joint leading driver with the most DOTM awards in ARC.

His August included 4 poles, 6 victories, 8 podiums, & a title in the ARC Indy Lites Championship, his 4th career AutoRacingConnected title.

While Lites was a "fun" series per ARC definitions, with fixed setups, & short races, the other 4 victories he claimed were more serious- 2 in Indycar & 2 in the SimLeaguePro.com Porsche SuperCup, both of which put him in prime contention for the championship fight in the weeks later!

His wealth of setup knowledge was at the forefront for those 4 victories, building cars that the other teams could only hope to keep up with as the laps ticked down.

We're also going to take a moment to shout out the other 2 drivers that we feel deserve an honourable mention for DOTM, Damian Miller & Mike Greathouse, who both had an equally amazing August, Greathouse picking up his first career ARC victory in an incredible Kansas ANCS Performance, while Miller picked up the other 2 victories in the first round, coming through the field late at both Darlington & Bristol!

Onto September!
